 The
2nd Annual Villanova Wall Street Summit brought Villanova alumni from
the investment banking community and senior University administrators
together to discuss the future of the university and the appointment of
two new University deans. The event, held on June 19 at the prestigious
boardroom of the New York Stock Exchange, provided the attendees an opportunity
to cultivate academic and business world contacts.
The event, co-chaired by Terence O’Toole, C&F ’80, and
Robert DiFazio, A&S ’78, provided an opportunity to introduce
Dr. Barry Johnson, dean of the College of Engineering, and Dr. Steven
Stumpf, the recently appointed interim dean of the College of Commerce
& Finance. Both deans discussed their perspectives of the future of
their respective colleges, while Father Dobbin presented the general goals
and outlook for the University.
