New Human Resources Director

The Rev. William A. McGuire, O.S.A., senior vice president of Administration announced the appointment of David McNichol as the new director of Human Resources. McNichol replaces G. Thomas Bull, who recently retired from the University after 12 years of dedicated service. McNichol will assume his new position on September 18.

McNichol comes to Villanova from Temple University, where he has spent 15 years working for both the University and the Temple University Health System. During his time at Temple, McNichol held a number of positions - Recruiter/Employee Relations manager, assistant director of Human Resource Development, director of Human Resources and director of Employee Relations. According to Father McGuire, "Dave brings with him a wealth of experience embodied in a philosophy that...all employees want to be treated with respect. He also believes that offering employees opportunities for development will lead to personal growth and help their institution thrive."

McNichol received his undergraduate degree from LaSalle College (now University), and received both a master's and doctorate in education from Temple University. Please join the University and Human Resources in welcoming Dave to the Villanova community.
